How large can an uploaded recording be?
The recorded transcription endpoint accepts files up to 200 MB.
Does a transcript return immediately?
No. Recorded transcription is asynchronous. Submit the file, then poll the returned task ID while it is pending or processing.
Which languages are supported?
Recorded and streaming transcription support 10 languages. Translation, summarization, and redaction accept 19 text languages.
Can live transcription be translated?
Yes. Translation runs on finalized transcript segments. Partial transcript events are not translated.
Does transcription include speaker labels?
No. Speaker diarization and speaker labels are not currently available.
What can I export from recorded transcription?
Completed jobs can return plain text and optional SRT subtitles. Realtime final events can include word timestamps.
